Choose from one of our 4* or 5* hotels - catering for our customers' different tastes. In the afternoon, enjoy a one-hour tour of the city's most famous landmarks, hidden streets and alleys in a Citroen 2CV.
Day 2 Paris
In the afternoon, take a trip through medieval Paris on a 3.5-hour food tour through Marais. Along the way, you will visit boutiques, bakeries and cafés serving regional French specialties such as cheeses and sausages, wine and escargot (or another seasonal dish), and deluxe baked goods. This tour will take you through Parisian history and your taste buds on a journey of delights.
Day 3 Train to Marseille
It's time to bid au revoir and head to the Gare du Lyon for a high-speed train to Marseille, which takes just over three hours. Stay in a boutique 4* hotel with views over the city and the port. Take in this beautiful city at your leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 4 Marseille
After breakfast, head to the Vieux Port for a day trip to explore the National Park of Les Calanques on a motor boat. Enjoy sailing across the bay of Marseille and into the Calanques, as well as drinks, lunch and stops for swimming and snorkelling. In the evening, seek out the region's classic dishes, such as the famous bouillabaisse soup.
Day 5 Train to La Ciotat
It's just a 30-minute hop from Marseille to La Ciotat. Stay at the Best Western Premier Hôtel du Vieux-Port with its rooftop swimming pool that overlooks the port and stay in a room with seas views. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the town and the old port, which bustles with private yachts and fishing boats, take the 15-minute ferry journey to Île Verte island, where you can relax on the beach or go for a hike, or visit the botanical garden of Parc du Mugel, where you can climb the Belverdere for a panoramic view from a height of 82m.
Day 6 Train to Toulon
It's another short journey to your next destination, Toulon, so you will have lots of time to explore. One must-do is the cable car up Mont Faron, which takes seven minutes to climb 584m and offers awesome views from the top. Spend some time wandering around the shops, museums and along the harbour, head to the beach and enjoy a swim.
Day 7 Wine tasting day trip from Toulon
It's time to go wine tasting! You will be collected from your hotel and whisked off for tours of celebrated vineyards and cellars, enjoy some all-important wine tastings and a Provençal gastronomic lunch.
Day 8 Train to Antibes
A one-hour-30-minute journey to the beautiful town of Antibes, which sits between Nice and Cannes. We recommend a stay in the Hôtel La Villa Port d'Antibes & Spa, where rooms have panoramic sea views. Wander through the old town, walk the old town walls, visit the Picasso museum and relax on yet another gorgeous Mediterranean beach!
Day 9 Antibes
Spend another day exploring this lovely town, relaxing by the pool of your hotel or climbing the ramparts of medieval Fort Carré for magnificent views.
Day 10 Train to Nice
The final destination beckons, the perennially sunny city of Nice, with its winding old streets and famous seafront, the Promenade des Anglais. For beautiful views over the city, climb Colline du Château by the winding staircases or take the lift.
