Day 1 Arrive in Palermo
A car will be waiting for you at Palermo Airport to take you to your hotel, the 4* Porta Felice Hotel & Spa, situated in a 18th century palace, where you will check in and enjoy a complimentary welcome drink. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2 Food & wine tour + spa
Don't have too big a breakfast because you need to prepare for the Classic Sicilian Food & Wine Tour, which will include a deli, a Sicilian wine bar, a Palermitan trattoria, a cheese shop and finally a patisserie. Your expert local guide will also point out historical monuments along the way and you will learn facts that you won't find in the guidebooks. Your tour will end in the mid-afternoon, when you can return to your hotel, relax in their spa and enjoy an hour-long massage.
Day 3 UNESCO site guided tour + cookery class with four-course meal
After breakfast, you are heading out for a 3hr guided walking tour, which will include all 8 of Palermo's UNESCO sites. Marvel at the baroque and Norman architecture, learn about Palermo’s multicultural history and enjoy one of the city’s tastiest cannoli. In the evening, head out for a traditional Sicilian cooking class with a local chef, which will include a four-course meal with wine.
Day 4 Hop on, hop off bus + evening aperitif boat trip
You have the hop on, hop off bus ticket to enjoy the city at your own pace. In the evening, look over Palermo from a boat, with a two-hour private trip along the coast where you can have a swim if you wish and relax with local snacks and an aperitif.
Day 5 Final day - transfer back to the airport
Your final day in Palermo, so spend your last hours doing whatever you fancy. When it's time to leave, a car will transfer you back to the airport for your flight home.
